This research aims to identify the most important modern trends of media and its role in tourism marketing. The research was applied in terms of subject matter, and exploratory in terms of methodology. Experts in this field were interviewed in the form of semi-structured interviews, and the required topics were extracted. Then, by conducting a questionnaire using the SPSS system to analyze the most important performance trends in media technology in tourism marketing in tourism offices and companies in the city of Karbala in the current and desired situation, their opinions were polled by experts. The results of the analysis showed that the most important of these modern media trends are social media, which obtained the highest percentages in the tourism marketing process and within the work of tourism offices and companies over the rest of the modern media trends. Such as (content creation, personal message analysis, website optimization, tourism marketing strategies, cooperation with influencers, virtual tourism, dealing with customer interests and benefiting from artificial intelligence). The results showed the importance of these trends in the tourism marketing process and raising the efficiency of the work of tourism offices and companies to achieve competition in the labor market and provide the best services in this aspect.
