چکیده	Entropy is a very important concept, known as a measure of the uncertainty of a model. Shannon (1948) proposed the famous Shannon entropy. Many researchers worked on the estimation of Shannon entropy in lifetime models. In this thesis, we want to study the classical and Bayesian estimation of the Shannon entropy in the half-logistic and the generalized half-logistic models based on Type II right censored data.
