Regenerative photocatalytic membranes have gained considerable attention for both their unique properties and practical applications in energy and environmental areas. Reduced graphene oxide- titanium dioxide (rGO-TiO2) electrosprayed onto an electrospun PAN/PA6 for photocatalytic and antifouling experiments. The prepared nanohybrid and membrane a were characterized using FESEM, TEM, AFM, EDX, XRD and DRS techniques. Simultaneous electrospinning of PAN and PA6 increased the mechanical strength of nanofibers by 85%. The rGO-TiO2 caused increased hydrophilicity, wettability, and ultrahigh water flux up to 1885 Lm−2 h−1 in the fabricated membrane. The membrane has good rejection ratio for methylene blue and the photodegradation of MB can occur in the presence of visible light (λ = 440–830 nm) and can recover its permeability. The fabricated structure, has the lowest total and irreversible membrane fouling ratio, giving the membrane higher antifouling and self-cleaning properties.
