In this work, an initial boundary value problem of a fractional order integro-partial differential equation with a weakly singular kernel will be investigated. A finite difference scheme is used to discretize the problem in time direction, and then, a Sinc-collocation approach is used for space discretization. The numerical algorithm is completely described and the convergence analysis of the numerical solution is presented. Finally, a numerical test problem is provided to illustrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
