The aerial parts of Salvia lachnocalyx Hedge. were collected from Eghlid in the Fars Province, Iran, in May 2014 and identified by Dr. A. Sonboli. The air-dried, powdered aerial parts of S. lachnocalyx Hedge. (5.5 kg) were extracted with chloroform by maceration at room temperature. The chloroform extract was fractionated on a silica gel column (700 g, 70-230 mesh) and eluted with n-hexane followed by a gradient of EtOAc up to 100% and then MeOH (up to 30%). Each fraction was collected at the volume of 250 mL and 168 fractions were collected totally.
