چکیده	A regioselective and highly efficient method for bromination of phenol and aniline derivatives using ethylenebis(N-methylimidazolium) ditribromide (EBMIDTB) as an efficient reagent in dichloromethane at ambient temperature is reported. The reagent can be recovered and reused several times.
