We present an overview of the state of knowledge on the Chilopoda of the Hyrcanian ecoregion based on the criticalrevision of all published records and new data. The fauna under consideration consists of at least 43 species from 16genera, eight families, and four orders. Lithobius antipai Matic, 1969 is new to the centipede fauna of the Hyrcanianecoregion. Genus Harpolithobius Verhoeff, 1904, H. anodus (Latzel, 1880), and Lithobius piceus L. Koch, 1862 arenew to the fauna of Iran, while L. variegatus (Leach 1814) was excluded from the fauna of this country.
