چکیده This paper presents a power management strategy to control a multiport converter as an interface among a three-phase power grid, a renewable energy source (RES), and two energy storage resources (ESRs). The ESRs include electric energy storage (EES) and electric vehicle (EV). With the expansion of the use of EVs, batteries from EVs can be used as energy storage and support the integrated RES-based electricity systems. EES and EV differ in availability, capacity, and charge/discharge rates. The multiport converter has a simple structure and reduced number of elements that allows simultaneous and independent use of resources. Two bidirectional DC ports enable two-way power flow for ESRs. A two-level power management system (TLPMS) is presented to deal with controlling battery charging, Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) operation, and RES and power grid utilization. This way, TLPMS changes the case studies (CSs) based on the availability of EV and photovoltaic (PV) as well as batteries' state-of-charge (SOC). The performance of the proposed TLPMS has been evaluated by simulation results and experimental tests. The results show the fast and robust performance of the proposed TLPMS. So that the current on the power grid side, under consecutive changes in the CSs, achieves a steady state during a cycle (20 ms). Also, the speed of DC sources in achieving their reference values is high, which indicates the outstanding features of the proposed system.
