چکیده The aim of this study was to propose a lifetime prediction model of aging HDPE (high density polyethylene) net shade films by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Arrhenius equations. The lifetime of HDPE was further increased by adding conventional and novel UV absorbent of benzophenone, alizarin-red, and thiacalix[4]arene. The structure and morphology of the samples were studied by FTIR, AFM and solubility tests, and the thermal property was investigated in details by DMTA, DSC, and OIT analysis. The extension of lifetime was preformed by 3, 5, and 10 % loads of UV absorbent. The optimum lifetime prediction was recorded for 5% loads of UV absorbent which revealed a 259, 846, and 1224 day extension in aging for benzophenone, alizarin red, and thiacalix[4]arene respectively to show the best performance for Thiacalix[4]arene macrocycle.
