چکیده	A facile and efficient protocol is reported for the synthesis of quinazoline derivatives via a one-pot multicomponent reaction of 2-amino-5-chlorobenzophenone, aromatic aldehydes and ammonium acetate using 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP). The use of HFIP both as the solvent and catalyst has significant advantages, including avoiding the use of an acidic catalyst and ease of product isolation.
