Froriepa subpinnata (Ledeb.) Baill. is one of the aromatic plants that grows further in Mazandaran, Gilan and Golestan Provinces. This plant is further edible. Also it has been used in traditional medicine. Froriepa subpinnata (Ledeb.) Baill. (synonym: Bupleurum subpinnutum Lebed., E nu& C., Petroselinumsegetum Lebed.) is one of the species of Umbelliferae family (1, 2). In this research the hydrodistilled essential oils extracted from aerial parts of Froriepia subpinnata (Ledeb.) Baill. were accumulated from two parts of Iran (Babol and Gorgan) were analysed by capillary GC and GC-MS and then compared.
