Abstract

The interpenetration of Russia and Iran took place already at the earliest stages of the development of Russian literature. This was due to the diplomatic and trade relations of the two neighboring countries. And like every social phenomenon, it could not but be reflected in the work of both the people as a whole and individual author of individual works. Public consciousness seriously influenced the creation of works related to the East, therefore, the re-creation of the image of Iran in the texts of folklore and literary works is stereotyped, even stereotyped. Russia and Iran are two countries whose contribution to the development of world literature cannot be overestimated. Quite a lot has been said about the interpenetration and mutual influence of cultures, the most important part of which is literature. Interest in Iran in Russian literature is preserved in connection with the further development of the theme of the popular uprising against tsarism under the leadership of Stepan Razin in the works of V. Kamensky, A. Chapygin, S. Zlobina. In the work of V. Kamensky, the folklore tradition became the formative beginning of the work. At the same time, one can speak of his peculiar historicism, in which national motifs and semi-folklore forms are free romantic fantasies on a historical theme.
