Determining the position of a fluid sip within an injection set, is one of the most important discussions in nanotechnology and biological experiments. The position of the sip is controlled by micro syringe pump and depends on the displacement of syringe’s piston and the air pressure between the piston and sip. The position of syringe’s piston is determined by the controller according to the reference value. In this article, an intelligent controller based on artificial neural network is used in order to control the position of a fluid sip by a micro syringe pump. Given that the syringe’s model is nonlinear, a nonlinear neural network is used. For modeling, the position of syringe’s piston is considered as the system input and accordingly, the position of a fluid sip inside the injection set is controlled.
