In this study, hydroxyapatite (HAP) particles with nanoporous structure have been synthesized from calcium acetate and dipotassium hydrophosphate using precipitation method. The characterization methods such as Fourier transform infrared spectrograph (FTIR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), Barret–Joyner– Halenda (BJH) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) were used for determination of the particles structure (pore size, structural evolution and morphology). The results show that HAP particles with nanoporous structure could be produced.
