Abstract
|
Determination of accurate protein concentration is a challenge for analytical chemists. Most protein quantification technique like LC or CE, colorimetric assays and immunoassays cannot be considered be absolute because they also require a reference standard. ICP-MS is mainly used to analyze elements in environmental, geological, nuclear and pharmaceutical samples. However, it can also be used in biotechnology and proteomics.
