Abstract
|
Some items such as toxicity properties and magnetization cause researchers to try to find a favorable magnetic material in the area of cyborg. For this aim, Fe3O4 (magnetite) α-Fe2O3 (hematite) and γ -Fe2O3 (maghemite) as a good option were synthesized and characterized by using fieldemission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy dispersion x-ray spectroscopy (EDS), xray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) techniques. The magnetic properties were measured by vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) technique The obtained results show that with decreasing the half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) and size the toxicity of nanoparticles increases. The obtained results show that Fe3O4, α-Fe2O3 and γ Fe2O3 nanoparticles can be considered as a suitable candidate in medical applications.
