Type JournalPaper
Keywords graphene oxide; magnetic nanoparticles; pyrano [2; 3- d] pyrimidinones; tetrahydrobenzo[b]pyrans; triethylenetetramine
Abstract Triethylenetetramine-grafted magnetic graphene oxide (Fe3O4@GO-NH2) was used as a reusable heterogeneous catalyst in the preparation of 2- amino-4H-benzopyran derivatives. The characteristics of this method include green reaction conditions, easy separation, compatibility with the environment, the cost-effectiveness of the catalyst, and high yield (85–98%) in a short reaction time. It was also found that it could be reused for at least seven cycles without significant performance degradation.
