Abstract

This paper studies complex-valued Klein-Gordon equation that arises in -4 field theory. Three integration tools are availed of in order to obtain soliton and other solutions to the governing equation that is considered with cubic and power law nonlinearity. The three algorithms that are studied in this paper are G0=G-expansion scheme, Kudryashov’s method, and the sine-cosine approach. The corresponding constraint conditions of the solutions are also given. These three distinct integration mechanisms lead to several solutions of the equation that will be of great asset in the physics of the problem.
