The genus Hedera
comprises 17 species of climbing or ground-creeping evergreen woody plants belong to the family
Araliaceae [1]. The isolation of saponins from Hedera
species and their biological properties have been reported previously
[2–4]. However, phytochemical investigations on Hedera
species are scarce, and little is known about biological studies of
Hedera pastuchovii [5, 6]. Thus, the present study was initiated in order to evaluate the essential oil composition of leaves,
berries, and stems of H. pastuchovii Woronow for the first time.
