چکیده

Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were fabricated out of double-layer mesoporous TiO2 photo anodes which were sensitized by new dyes. The visible spectrums of inexpensive Rhodamine 6G (Rh 6G) and its blend with N719 dye in different organic mediums were taken which perfectly demonstrates Rh 6G’s capability to take the co-sensitizer role in DSSC due to its wide absorption spectrum and high extinction coefficient. Current density-potential diagrams of samples were obtained under simulated light of AM 1.5 G and the maximum efficiency of 6% was achieved. Furthermore, the Nyquist plots of the efficient device were driven from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) by applying various biases.
