Abstract

Absurdism is an approach primarily deals with the essence of human existence and the form of alienation of mankind. Albert Camus is a French thinker who is famous for originate the seeds of (Absurdism) as a unique philosophy in the first half of the twentieth century which one simply can distinguish a similarity with existentialism in some notions. It's challenging to explain absurd theatre to a number of literary learners in the field of literature in a foreign tongue. Thus, it is essential to figure out the best manner for improving pupils in this theatrical course and facilitating their comprehension of literature through a variety of literature schools. This study pointed out to modern literature with two different directions, Existentialism and Absurdism in purpose of help students of literature to understand the absurdity concept within literary works as in Waiting for Godot. This study acquires that the concept of the Absurd philosophized in the first half of the twentieth century but, it is much earlier than that. Therefore, apply the theme of the alienation in the play Waiting for Godot.
