Chitosan is a natural polymer that due to biocompatibility and biodegradability used in many biochemical fields. Chitosan was utilized in tissue engineering, wound coverings, drug delivery and industrial programs such as the water treatment. Electrospray method is an efficient method to production of nano-scale particles, which is due to the ease of use and low costs for mass production in many applications. This paper was investigated preparation of chitosan bio-polymer nanoparticles by electrospray method.Morphology and physicochemical properties of prepared nanoparticles were explored by SEM, IR, respectively. Finally, this study demonstrated that the electrospraying process is a suitable technique for the production of chitosan micro/nanoparticles.
