Abstract

Kazakhstan has several crafts Including traditional textiles, jewelry, wooden arts (especially wood and wood carvings) and pottery. Because the climate and varied cold weather in northern and temperate and humid in the southern half and ancient history, different peoples and races and economic standing is the old Silk Road. On the other hand many handicraft products of the country due to cultural and geographic proximity to the northern regions of Iran - especially Khorasan and the Turkmen - in terms of materials, construction, design and pattern and type of products, many links with crafts Iran does. The study - which was conducted analytical method - is trying to identify crafts index of Kazakhstan, relationship species examine them with Iranian handicrafts. The results suggest that in addition to materials and construction practices, many of the designs used in the handicraft products Kazakhstan, similarities and significant link with the tastes and styles of handicrafts in Iran and this shows, exchanges longstanding historical, cultural and economic between the two nations over time, such was the inseparable link, that could be a new opportunity for the exchange of cultural and civilizational Today the two countries. Research question: What links and commonalities have Kazakhstan crafts with Iran handicrafts in terms of cultural exchanges? Research hypothesis: The Kazakhstan crafts in terms of variety of products, materials, manufacturing methods and designs used in the role of traditional textiles, jewelry, wood and pottery arts, have links and considerable common with Iran crafts and it can play a leading role in cultural exchanges.
