This paper studies the nonlinear generalized Klein-Gordon equation in 1 + 2 dimensions. Exact multisoliton solution of this equation is obtained for the case of quadratic-law nonlinearity by the formal linearization method. Subsequently, exact travelling wave solutions of the generalized forms of KleinGordon equations in 1 + 2 dimensions are established by the modification of the truncated expansion method.
