‎In this paper‎, ‎we study some mathematical properties of the gamma Gumbel distribution‎. ‎We provide explicit expressions for the moments‎, ‎quantile function‎, ‎Renyi entropy‎, ‎and order statistics‎. ‎We also discuss the estimation of the model parameters using the maximum likelihood technique‎, ‎method of moments and Bayesian method‎. ‎We provide an application to a real data set which illustrates the usefulness of the model‎.
