Abstract

Millimeter-wave imaging systems (30-300 GHz) offer diverse applications in ADAS, medical imaging, NOT, telecommunications, and security. These systems can penetrate thin dielectric materials while providing sufficient resolution for threat detection. Current commercial systems use monostatic 1-0 antenna arrays with mechanical rotation, limiting real-time imaging capabilities. State-of-the-art fully electronic multistatic structures enable real-time imaging but face challenges in data processing speed and system cost. Sparse 2-0 array designs are proposed to address these issues by reducing data volume and system complexity. This workshop covers hardware components, antenna array design, reconstructional algorithms, and deep learning-based object detection in millimeter-wave imaging systems.
