Using atight-bindingmodelandsomewell-knownapproachesandmethodsbasedonGreen’sfunction theoryand Landauer formalism,wenumericallyinvestigatetheconductancepropertiesand I–V characteristics of(n,0) zigzagsingle-walledBCNalloynanotubeintheCNT/BCN/CNTstructure,where nanocontactsareconsideredas(n,0) zigzagsingle-walledcarbonnanotubes.Ourcalculationsshowthat the conductanceissensitivetothe n index.With I–V characteristics,thissystemcanbeapossible candidateforananoelectronicswitchingdevice
