In this work we synthesised a mesoporous LaFeO3 sphere composed of nanorod with a convenient and facile hydrothermal process. Porous structures are interesting in many emerging areas of technology. The prepared samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The nanorods diameter is about 20 nm. BET measurement reveals a large surface area for the prepared nanostructure. The pore diameter and the specific surface area are about 14 nm and 15.06 m2g-1 respectively.
