One of the widespread problems caused by industrial activities is environmental pollution by heavy metals. One of the most important of them in aqueous solutions is chromium. In fact, chromium (VI) endangers public health as well as the environment and poses serious risks to the environment. Polyaniline compounds as well as polyamide for absorbing chromium (VI) from aqueous environments have always been one of the most attractive cases studied. Therefore, it is very important to develop a new method to improve the adsorption of chromium (VI). In this research, the synthesis sulfonated polyaniline-nylon6 nanoblend (SPAN-Ny6) was done by in situ chemical polymerization method. Then this mixture was characterized by infrared atomic adsorption (FT-IR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) methods. Also, this compound were electrospun using formic acid solvent and the nanofibrous structure was identified by field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM). Studies have shown that the synthesized mixture is good adsorbent for the adsorption of chromium (VI) from aqueous media.
