The exponential growth of the human population has led to the accumulation of huge amounts of plastic across our plant. The increasing awareness on the negative environmental impact of petroleum- based plastics had driven industries to explore more efficient biodegradable polymers for production of bioplastic. In order to assist microorganisms resist severe environments, certain microbes generate bioplastic, which are lipid polymers that build up as storage materials.
