The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare predictive factors of marital satisfaction among married people in Kermanshah and Hamedan city. In this study, to collect data, a mixed method (Sequential Exploratory plan) was used. This study was carried out in two stages. The content analysis method was used to analyze the interview data, and 20 factors were identified. Then, 372 married people were selected using multi-stage sampling method from Hamedan (200 case) and Kermanshah (172 case). The participants were asked to complete Enrich's marital satisfaction, and 116-items researcher-made questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using analysis of variance and step-wise regression. The results indicated that variables named expressing feelings, trust, acceptance, and respect were the most important predictors of marital satisfaction among Hamedan married people (a total range of 60% of the variance of marital satisfaction was anticipated). The most important predictors of marital satisfaction among married people in Kermanshah respectively were expressing feelings, trust, and respect (a total range of 31% of variance was anticipated). Moreover, the results indicated that expressing feelings, trust, respect, consultation, appreciation, and expressing life satisfaction respectively were the most important predictors of marital satisfaction among all married couples and totally anticipated 51% of the variance of marital satisfaction.
