Hence, the productivity of service provider organizations, such As the railway industry, is of paramount importance. The aim of the current study is to provide a complete and Systematic structure of the barriers to improvement of organizational productivity in the railway industry. For this Purpose, the required criteria have been extracted from previous researches done in the railway industry. In order For weighting and determination of the identified criteria, after holding interview sessions with the railway industry Experts, the multi criteria decision making method called best-worst technique (BWM) has been used to rank the criteria. The acquired result indicates that systematic, legal and political, environmental, occupational, Organization and individual obstacles respectively, are the most influencing barriers to productivity.
