چکیده

In this work, nanoporous ZSM-5 hierarchical zeolite is synthesized based on silica nanorods extracted from bagasse (BGA) ash. BGA is growing in the south of the Caspian Sea (Iran). Synthesized zeolite is characterized by XRD (X-ray diffraction), SEM (scanning electron microscopy), FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared), N2 adsorption and desorption and EDX (energy dispersive X-ray) Techniques. Prepared zeolite is modified by silver nanoparticles (Ag/ZSM-5) through an ion exchange process. The Ag/ZSM-5 is mixed by carbon paste (CP) to fabricate the sensor Ag/ZSM-5/CPE to measure hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Cyclic voltammetry (CV) studies exhibit that the Ag/ZSM-5/CPE sensor can increase the reduction current of H2O2. Amperometric response of the sensor displays linear relationship for H2O2 in range of 0.03–14.0 mM with a good response time of 3 s, high sensitivity of 71.0 μA mM− 1 and the detection limit 2.5 μM. The fabricated sensor shows a convenient repeatability and stability for reduction and detection of H2O2. The sensor do not affected by the interference of interfering species present in the biological samples. Also, Capability of the sensor in real sample practical analysis is studied.
