چکیده

In the case of human self-actualization, there are fundamental disputes among different schools and religions. Inspired by religious teachings, some Muslim thinkers resort to psychic-spiritual needs as the most important way of reaching the spiritual self-actualization. This paper uses library resources and is a descriptive-analytic method to match the viewpoints of Ibn Sina and Ibn Arabi to human self-actualization. These two thinker were inspired by Islamic teachings, especially the Holy Qur'an, but their intellectual approach is different from each other. Ibn Sina can be learned as a Muslim and intellect-oriented philtist, and from Ibn Arabi as a Muslim mystic who considers mystical behavior. Ibn Sina attempted to point out rational evolution as human self-actualization. His beliefs have profound impacts on different thinkers such as Judaism and Christianity. As the founder of theoretical Gnosticism in Islam, Ibn Arabi actualization a comprehensive definition of the description that, according to the principles of the Holy Qur'an and Islamic traditions, is rooted in human spiritual perfection. In addition to the rational knowledge that Ibn Sina relies on, Ibn Arabi believes in actualization of human existence and perfection.
